1. Acceptance of Terms

By using mmmeet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

mmmeet provides integration between Mattermost and Google Meet. The Service allows users to create Google Meet video conferencing links and associated Google Calendar events directly from Mattermost using a slash command.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for its intended purpose of creating Google Meet links.
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service.
  • Comply with Google's Terms of Service when using Google Meet and Google Calendar.
  • Comply with your organization's Mattermost usage policies.
  • Keep your Google account credentials secure.

4. Google Account Authorization

The Service requires you to authorize access to your Google account to function. By authorizing the Service, you grant it permission to create calendar events on your behalf. You can revoke this authorization at any time through your Google Account settings.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS IS A PERSONAL PROJECT AND IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE AVAILABLE, RELIABLE, OR ERROR-FREE.

I do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SERVICE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers.
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service.
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service.

7. Service Availability

I reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. I will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google services (Google Calendar, Google Meet) and Mattermost. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. I am not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services.

9. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
