Introduction
mmmeet ("the Service") integrates Google Meet with Mattermost. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.
Information We Collect
When you authorize mmmeet with your Google account, we collect and store:
- Google email address: Used to identify your account and display which Google account is connected.
- OAuth tokens: Access and refresh tokens that allow us to create calendar events on your behalf.
- Calendar selection: Your preferred Google Calendar for creating meeting events.
- Mattermost user ID and username: Used to associate your Google authorization with your Mattermost account.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide the Service:
- Create Google Calendar events with Google Meet video conferencing links when you use the
/meetcommand. - List your available calendars so you can choose where to create meeting events.
- Maintain your session and preferences across uses.
Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Datastore.
- We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
- We do not store the content of your calendar events or any meeting recordings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your data is only used to facilitate communication between Mattermost and Google Calendar/Meet services.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Revoke access: You can revoke mmmeet's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.
- Delete data: Contact your Mattermost administrator to have your authorization removed from the Service, or contact us directly.
- Change calendar: Use the
/meet calendarcommand to change which calendar is used for meetings.
Data Retention
Your authorization data is retained until you revoke access or request deletion. Meeting request logs are retained for a limited time for debugging purposes and are automatically cleaned up.
Google API Services User Data Policy
mmmeet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
